Strategy & Operations

Annual strategic planning, quarterly assessments and board development for non-profit organizations includes a series of facilitated sessions with stakeholders to determine current and future state. Deliverables include agendas, board performance assessment, structure analysis, roles and responsibilities, policies and procedures, organizational scorecards, and strategic plan development and implementation recommendations. Vision, mission, values and guiding principles are validated or developed, if none exist, to provide the foundation for planning.

Some non-profit clients of Shift Strategies strategy and operations services include Boise Contemporary Theater, Girls on the Run, Idaho Foodbank, Idaho Women’s Charitable Foundation, Jannus, Terry Reilly, Treasure Valley Institute for Children’s Arts (TRICA), and Village Charter School.

“When Girls on the Run board members needed someone to facilitate with the creation of a strategic plan, I thought of Beth and Shift Strategies immediately. The strategic planning process wasn’t one size fits all. She and her staff took the time to not only understand the organization as a whole, but to get to know each individual board member through aligning their specific goals and objectives for the sessions. Beth was a calming presence as we worked through the growing pains of the organization. “Kâren Sander / Board Member / Girls on the Run Treasure Valley
